Comperative Antanomy

Nervous System: The nervous system of the

human and the panda have many parallels.

Except, the Pandas is split into sector, the Central

sector which consists of the Brain and the Spin, and

the Peripheral sector which are all other organs

such as the nerves.

Circulatory System: The panda and humans circulatory

systems are as well very paralleled but

the pandas have more capillaries. Both serve the

same purpose in its respective organism

Respiratory System: The Panda Respiratory is again

roughly the same as humans, they have the

same organs, and same use. They do however have so

weird vein type structures other than a throat that

go along with the Respiratory system.

Digestive System: Again, the organs are

very similar, however, the parts that intake nutrients

are specialized to take in nutrients from meat

because although they eat a

lot of bamboo, they are carnivores.

Excretory System: The Panda excretory system is again very much the same as the humans, it is used to remove large waste from the body that no other system can get rid of, it's organs are similar, but it differs because it also uses organs from other systems to help out as well.

Locomotive Systems:

The pandas skeletal system functions the same

way as ours, for structure and producing red blood

cells and calcium. However the pandas structure is

extremely different from the humans, they have 4 legs,

a tail, a much different head, and a longer spine.

Again though, the function is similar but the

structure is vastly different.

The Pandas Muscular System is the same way, it serves the same purpose as humans, to provide movement, but panda muscles don't only look different because of their size and shape but they also need stronger jaw muscles to chew  through bamboo, they also need a very strong core to climb trees.

  • Geographical distribution: The Giant Panda is located only in temperate forests of China which makes them an important species to protect.

  • The latest census in 2014 found that there were 1,864 giant pandas alive in the wild.

  • Their diet consists of mostly bamboo with a small percent of grass or small rodents.

  • Lifespan is about 20 years in wild, but they live much longer under protection.

  • At birth, the cubs need a lot of effort to raise by their mother, and they can't move until  three months.

  • They play an important role in the bamboo forest by helping the spread of the seeds in order to grow more vegetation that also benefits the Chinese's economy.
